Even in the book of Luke, the Bible notes that Jesus and the disciples traveled from town to town healing the sick, and feeding the hungry, and Mary Magdalene (and a few other women) supported the work financially “from their own means.” (Luke 8:1-3)

I learned about that at Yale 🤔 and immediately knew why the Church condemned & dismissed her instead of celebrating that this woman used wealth to fund the work in the world her heart felt.

The wealthy woman who uses her resources to help heal the world,
